Ace decor, super friendly and the food is healthy and tasty 😋

This was such a great find. Loved the decor, friendly staff and general ambience and the poke bowls were fantastic. Great range of flavours to choose from, all vegan, generous portions and so very colourful, fresh and vibrant. I would very much like to work my way through the menu and am considering more trips to Shrewsbury so that I can make it happen!

What an amazing meal! Went as a group of three, a vegan, an omni and a vegan gluten intolerant. The food was absolutely delicious and it was so refreshing to have a whole menu to choose from. The flavour and texture combinations were just … WOW! The atmosphere was great and the service was brilliant. If you have a chance to go don’t hesitate!

Absolutely delicious food. We each had a Poké bowl and they were both vibrant and fresh. The texture of the crispy tofu was amazing. The staff were all absolutely lovely, and the restaurant itself is so colourful and a joy to be in.

So many fresh delicious options to try in a warm atmosphere. All gluten free and vegan.

On a nice hill down to a forthcoming park there is KANU POKE (does it say SING POKE, CANU meaning 'to sing' yn Cymraeg?). We arrived there & were greeted by George who said 'Enjoy your mealS' as we went upstairs at first we didn't understand what he meant but, on eating at Kanu Poke, we realise George meant you'll be back again and again to meal here. Y walls (octopi, lionesses, owls, turtles, etc) and y plate-content (purple flower mash, pickled shiitake, seaweed puff-curls, etc.) were extremely colourful, as was y pleasant musak. Our drinks were correctly chilld. We couldn't believe it! Everything was Vg+ & GF! You can have it all! Kanu Poke's waitress had been human and patient as we'd negotiated our meal decisions, which achieved a relaxxed environ. The indoor-temperature was clement. We will return for hot booze, frozen crèmes. On our way out George lent a generous ear to our confessions of enjoyment. Highly recommended! We came here from out of town and was recommended on TripAdvisor as a good place to eat in Shrewsbury. One of the best vegan places we've been to in a long time. Super tasty and decor is amazing too !

Delicious food, healthy and tasty when you're looking for something a little different. We really loved the desserts and cocktails too.

Wow tremendous food - fresh, wonderful flavours and beautifully presented

I went to this eatery after visiting my dentist in Shrewsbury. I happened to spot it as walking into town from one of the main carparks. What a find! The food is sublime and I can’t wait for another visit, though unfortunately, I live a 2 hour drive from Shrewsbury. I had the trio of Hummus and the soup, altogether. Everything was delicious, and different, and imaginative. Lovely staff, too!

We've eaten here many times and it's always been absolutely delicious. It's hard to believe that everything served is vegan, gluten free and nut free as the flavours are diverse and incredible. The owners are so friendly and obviously passionate about what they do as they're always happy to explain the food and how it's made. Most recently we went for the spring equinox mystery tasting menu and whilst usually I'm jot a huge fan of mushrooms, one of the main dishes contained oyster mushrooms which surprisingly I actually loved! We have brought so many family members with us for meals there and absolutely everyone has expressed how delicious the food is.

Superb. Great food, great atmosphere and helpful team to guide through the menu. Really tasty food, and well prepared and presented. Loved it, as a non-vegan (vegan curious) vegetarian / pescatarian. Highly recommend, and all above backed up by very vegan friend!

Oh wow, what a fabulous place! Enjoyed a leisurely evening with a friend … not rushed at all, which was lovely. The place is amazing, awesome decor and all hand-painted, vibrant and welcoming and fun. But the food…. Absolutely delicious. Having free choice on a menu is a novelty for me (vegetarian for 30 years!), and I loved it! My friend is not a veggie, but had no problem at all with the options, and enjoyed it as much as I did. Lots of choice, and everything we chose was a good portion, presented well, and very tasty. Could have licked the plates clean! Thank you, Kanu Poke - I’ll be back, every time I’m in town.

Superb service, fantastic food. It’s an absolute oasis for those looking for Fresh, innovative and very tasty vegan food. Gluten free too! This will be a regular from now on!
